Solar Panels
Green Air Solar, suppliers and installers of Solar Panels, is the trading name for the renewables sector of Green Air Mechanical Solutions Ltd.
In October 2011, Green Air Solar was formed in order that the company could expand on its interest and awareness of the need to be more energy efficient. We are currently MCS accredited for Solar PV Photovoltaic Panels, and have expanded into other areas such as air source heat pumps, rainwater harvesting and solar thermal installations.
We are specialist installers of photovoltaic (pv) solar panels based in Worthing, West Sussex and offer a free site survey and quotation, backed by MCS Certification and inclusion to the REAL Deposit Insurance Scheme.
In order for householders to qualify for the Government Approved Scheme, their solar panels contractor MUST be MCS Certified. Green Air Solar are installers that hold this important certification and are fully qualified to carry out solar panel installations. Our MCS Certification Number is NIC 2573. This means that you will qualify for the Feed-in Tariff for the solar panels that our company install.
The REAL Assurance Scheme was set up by the Renewable Energy Association as a safeguard for customers of energy generation systems for their homes, ie solar photovoltaic (pv) panel systems. The REAL logo is only to be used by those companies who have agreed to be bound by the Consumer Code. This code is also backed by the Office of Fair Trading.
Membership to REAL also means that those companies are able to offer their customers a Deposit Insurance Scheme, to ensure that the customer will not lose their deposit or any other monies paid, prior to a successful installation. We are proud to be members of the scheme.
Free Energy Performance Certificate until June 2012
As of April 1st 2012, in order to obtain the full FIT, all properties need an EPC with a level D or above. If your property doesn't reach this level, some simple energy-saving measures ie loft and cavity wall insulation, may help, as will the installation of solar panels. Call us for more details. As at March 2012, the Government have changed the Feed-in Tariff Scheme (FITS) amount payable, and it is now 21p, so it's not too late to install solar panels and benefit from the Feed-in-Tariff Scheme(FITS)
